Directions

One map to plan business travel: charge points, fuel stations, car parks, car washes and garages across 32 European countries. Fuel prices come from six countries' official sources, charging tariffs from Greenway price profiles, and the route calculator prices energy and tolls before you leave. This EV charging map is free, account-free, straight in the browser.

    What the map does

Everything below works without an account, straight in the browser. Each feature runs on data refreshed automatically; the coverage table lists the rhythms.

    Fuel prices, country by country

In France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom, every station shows official prices collected nightly: diesel, petrol grades, E10, E85 and LPG. In the 26 other countries, the sheet shows the EU weekly oil bulletin's national average; in Germany and Austria, the price is fetched when you open a sheet. The “Best price” panel ranks the cheapest stations within 1 to 25 km of the map centre, an address or your position.

EV charging map: availability, power, tariffs

Europe's 335,158 charging sites appear with their live status: the “Available now” box keeps only free points, checked in batches around the map centre. Power filters (≥ 22 kW, > 100 kW) and connector filters (CCS, Type 2, CHAdeMO) isolate the points that match your vehicle. Each sheet lists the power and the tariffs by price profile.

Routes: trip cost, energy and tolls

The calculator prices the whole trip, fuel or charging depending on the vehicle profile, plus tolls. On APRR and AREA motorways, the official rate applies between the entry gate and the exit gate (a matrix of 197 gates); everywhere else, a per-kilometre estimate by vehicle class takes over. A toll-free variant is computed alongside, time and cost gaps shown, and the thermal-versus-electric comparison sets cost, duration including stops, and CO₂ side by side for the same trip.

    Charging plan and optimal fill-ups

For an EV, the map proposes where to stop: chargers picked along the route, estimated battery level on arrival, never below a 15 % reserve. For a combustion vehicle, the same logic applies to fill-ups: stations reachable before the 80 km reserve, cheapest first, up to 8 stops on one trip. A gap wider than 8 c/L between stations is flagged even when no stop is needed.

    Low-emission zones and Crit'Air stickers

France's 23 low-emission zones overlay the map. Enter the vehicle's Crit'Air sticker in its profile: during navigation, a voice announcement warns as you approach a zone and recalls the rule that applies.

Traffic, incidents and weather on the route

The TomTom overlay colours live congestion. On a calculated route, incidents surface sorted by position: accident, roadworks, closure, with the delay they add. Weather is sampled along the route at the expected passing time (ice, snow, storm) and danger zones are announced on approach, in the format set by French regulations.

    Turn-by-turn navigation and trip sharing

Guidance brings voice instructions and a 3D car pointing the way. If a road closes or a faster route appears, the recalculation is offered mid-drive. Live sharing sends a plain link: the recipient sees only the latest position and the estimated arrival time, and everything is wiped 12 hours after departure at the latest.

    HGVs and multi-stop rounds

The HGV profile adds height, width, length, weight and axle load, plus a dangerous-goods box that keeps regulated tunnels out. The toll class (1 to 5) sets motorway rates, AS 24 stations appear in the fuel layer, and the round mode reorders up to six stops to minimise distance.

Car parks, washes, garages and rest areas

2.9M car parks, park-and-rides included, filterable by on-street, free and van-sized bays. At the end of a route, the map offers five car parks with walking distance and the one-hour rate. Washes (73,113), garages (58,951) and motorway rest areas complete the layer, and suggested breaks fall every two hours of driving, never in the last 40 kilometres.

Using the map on a phone

The map runs straight in the mobile browser, with no account and nothing to install. Each layer loads only on request, which keeps it responsive on a slow connection. Installed-app mode and offline reopening exist on the French page, which ships the web manifest.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is the map free?

Yes, entirely: no paid feature and no account. Only the “My charging sessions” panel, which tracks a Greenway card's sessions, asks for a sign-in, and it exists in French only.

Where do fuel prices come from, and how often?

Official sources, country by country: prix-carburants.gouv.fr in France, MINCOTUR in Spain, MIMIT in Italy, DGEG in Portugal, regulated prices in Luxembourg, Fuel Finder (DESNZ) in the United Kingdom. Collection runs every night. In the 26 other countries, the map shows the EU weekly oil bulletin's national average.

    Are toll amounts exact?

On APRR and AREA networks, yes: the map applies the official rate between the entry gate and the exit gate, by vehicle class 1 to 5, whenever the pair exists in the open matrix (197 gates, about 96 % of sections matched). For the rest, it falls back to a per-kilometre estimate, labelled as such.

What is the coverage of the EV charging map?

32 countries, from Iceland to Cyprus: 335,158 charging sites (1.1M charge points), 137,896 fuel stations, 2.9M car parks, 73,113 car washes and 58,951 garages. Fuel prices refresh every night, the other layers weekly.

Can I use it with a Greenway fleet card?

The map is a standalone tool, useful to every fleet. With a Greenway card, charge points accepting the DKV and Edenred networks carry a badge, the displayed charging tariffs are those of your price profile, and the “My charging sessions” panel tracks sessions live (French only).

How do I use the map on a phone?

Open it in any mobile browser; there is nothing to install and no account needed. On the French page, the map can also be added to the home screen as an app, and it then reopens offline from its cached copy.

    Does the map handle HGVs?

Yes: full dimensions (height, width, length, weight, axles), a dangerous-goods box that avoids regulated tunnels, toll class 1 to 5 and AS 24 stations in the fuel layer. The round mode reorders up to six intermediate stops to minimise distance.

    Is trip sharing private?

The link holds only a random 128-bit identifier, placed in the URL fragment and never sent to third-party servers. The recipient sees the latest position and the estimated arrival time, not the history. The trip is wiped on arrival, on stop, or 12 hours after departure at the latest.
